Congratulations for choosing Medical Assisting as your career path!

By attending a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or a Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) college, you will be eligible to take the CMA (AAMA) Certification exam.

By joining AAMA prior to graduation you can qualify for student membership rates and receive a reduced rate on the cost of the Certification Exam.

Scholarships

The Nebraska Society of Medical Assistants is offering a $500 Scholarship to a Medical Assisting Student.

Who is eligible? The applicant must be a Medical Assisting Student in good standing at a medical assisting program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in the core medical assisting courses.
